Ultimate Edition 2.8 Gamers 64bit OS Remix Review Screencast demo

Quick Screencast overview Review of Ultimate Edition 2.8 "Gamers" 64bit which is based on Ubuntu Linux but a jam packed Remix with lots of Games...
Glenn Cady has announced the release of Ultimate Edition 2.8 "Gamers", an Ubuntu-based live DVD featuring some 48 games: "Ultimate Edition 2.8 Gamers is unlike any other gamer's edition built in the past. Besides the updates, many tools have been ripped out of Ultimate Edition 2.8, prior to the build to maximize room for additional games. In Ultimate Edition 2.8 Gamers you will not find OpenOffice.org, we are here to play games right? This does not mean you will not have a media player, just the very basics and a vast quantity of high-quality games. The newest PlayOnLinux is also included to allow installation of Windows games. What games have been pre-installed? Urban Terror, Armagetron Advanced, Gunroar, Hedgewars, Kobo Deluxe, Pingus, BZFlag, Chromium B.S.U., Grid Wars 2... A new repository filled to the hilt with games has also been pre-added to allow the end user to install additional games."

Ylmf OS 3.0 32bit with Windows XP theme Screencast Review demo

Screencast style Review of Ylmf OS 3.0 32bit which is a Linux that looks like Windows XP theme which is based on Ubuntu Linux 10.04 Lucid Lynx. I am demonstrating the Open Source Operating System running inside Oracle VirtualBox Virtual Machine with Ubuntu 10.10 as the host.
Ylmf OS is a new Ubuntu-based distribution from China with the GNOME desktop tweaked to resemble Microsoft Windows XP. Version 3.0 was released early this week based on Ubuntu 10.04, with the major components being Linux kernel 2.6.32-22.33, X.Org Server 1.7.6, GCC 4.4.3, and GNOME 2.30.0. It allows for a live CD mode, and one can log in with username "ylmfos" and an empty password. The live CD employs Squashfs LZMA, which combines one of the best compression algorithms, LZMA, and one of the best compressed file systems available nowadays, Squashfs, so as to include as much software as possible. Ylmf OS 3.0 also supports several approaches for installation. It includes a number of classical Linux applications for both newbies and veterans, and supports Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and English.

Top 6 Reasons Why not to use GNU Free OS L I N U X S U C K S

Top 6 Linux disadvantages (I was a bit over the top and said reason why it sucks, but I still love Linux) 1 ? Around 20% of the Community are immature free loading nasty people who leave nonconstructive insulting terrible comments 2 ? Fedora represents division and no unity with Linux Standards 3 ? Sound problems in Linux poor Support 4 ? Graphics Performance poor Support 5 ? Bug Regression ? many things used to work correctly in Linux years ago but these days does not work well at all such as Text to Speech, Voice Recondition, Recording Screencasts. 6 ? Poor Commercial Support ? very little Commercial Companies support Linux because they think the Linux Community are Free Loaders who would never pay for any software or services.
